Arma Tankbouw has a rich history and a track record that speaks for itself. Our building, located in the Rotterdam area in The Netherlands, houses many modern facilities including computer-controlled sheet metalworking.
Our organisation is designed to work in accordance with tank building standards and guidelines. And naturally, we have ISO 9001 and SCC** (Safety, Health & Environment Checklist for Contractors) certification and we employ EEMUA Tank Integrity Assessors.
Our Armakon Civiel joint venture, a partnership with contractor Gebr. De Koning, enables us to offer an optimum service in realising and renovating tank foundations and tank pits and in jacking up existing storage tanks.

Our history
Arma Tankbouw was founded in 1974 as production branch of a trading company. The then Arma Tank- en Apparatenbouw was established in Dordrecht.
In 1997, the company relocated to Vlaardingen and since 1999, following a management buy-out, we have operated entirely independently on the market.
As we specialise in vertical storage tanks, the term ‘apparatenbouw’ was removed from the company name in 2003. This policy has enabled Arma Tankbouw to be successful in its ambition to obtain a strong position.
Since 2005, Arma Tankbouw has been located in a new building on the Nieuwland industrial site in Alblasserdam. The Armakon Civiel joint venture was founded in 2013, a pooling of expertise from Arma Tankbouw and contractor Gebr. De Koning; an excellent way to meet market demand.

NEW-BUILD
ON SITE AND READYMADE
Engineering and production of vertical steel storage tanks. Construction on site or delivery by water. Mostly in accordance with EN 14015, API 650 or PED.
MAINTENANCE
REPAIR AND MODIFICATION
Extensive experience with repair and restoration of storage tanks. And with the conversion of existing tank constructions for new applications.
CIVIL ENGINEERING
IN-HOUSE TOTAL SOLUTION
Design, construction and renovation of tank foundations and tank pits from our civil engineering joint venture. We have our own tank jacking equipment for jacking up tanks.
